1950's ELEGANCE!
BLUE & CREME HALTER GOWN
This has to be one of the most
splendid gowns I've ever come across. Creme tulle netting completely
covered in blue, creme and light blue floral embroidery. The
pics are actually a little light and don't do this dress justice!
Halter bodice is boned, entire dress is lined, side metal zipper,
full circle skirt, creme lining with slate blue netting at bottom
underneath, to help make dress stand out; no label, no belt.
Condition: super! Straps have been reinforced at arms.
Measurements: chest (underarm-underarm): 37 1/4";
waist: 28"; hips: full: shoulder to waist: approx 21 1/2";
overall length: 54"

Delectable! Label says "Cain
Sloan Designers Shop", I'm thinking it sold by mistake in
the candy department!
RICH black velvet, scoop neck line, rear metal zipper, straight
skirt line, and an almost edible chocolate satin sash in the
front, with a chocolate satin bow.
CONDITION: Excellent!

1950's STUNNING SKY BLUE
DRESS SWIMMING with RHINESTONES!
Light blue cotton, wrap around
collar, fastens in back; rear zipper, straight form-fitting skirt
line, snug waist, with endless rhinestones all over, surrounded
by loops and swirls of matching piping. No label, tiny belt missing,
but honestly, who'd notice?
CONDITION: Very good! unnoticeable repairs seem to have
been made to reinforce some piping on the dress...

No label indicated; black crepe
bodice with front metal zipper, peter pan collar with tie front;
3/4" sleeves with taffeta trim; dropped waist; black taffeta
skirt, white rose holds up one side of skirt to show red netting
underneath (I don't believe the dress originally came like that,
but I decided NOT to unfasten the rose...it's an important part
of the dress and appears to have been that way for a long time)
CONDITION: very good...perhaps a trip to the cleaners
